State of Salaries 2023 for devops players
In its 2023 edition of the IT salary scale, Silkhom notes increases of between 3% and 6% in the remuneration of web and mobile developers. In the field of infrastructure, devops functions stood out in 2023 as the best paid.
In its 2023 IT salary barometer, recruitment firm Silkhom notes less significant increases than in 2022, except for certain high-volume or highly qualified profiles.

The analysis, based on data from more than 15,000 candidates from 2019 to 2023, shows that salaries remain stable in the data sector, with the exception of junior data engineers (€40,000 to €45,000 per year in Paris).

Web and mobile developers continue to see pay rises of between 3% and 6%, with a notable increase of 11.7% for PHP developers.

Cloud and devops roles offer the best salaries in infrastructure, outstripping software development and big data engineers. Junior devops roles and site reliability engineers are among the best paid, with CIOs and CISOs in the lead for senior profiles.

ERP project managers, particularly those with expertise in SAP or Salesforce, and business analysts in management software packages remain highly sought-after and well-paid. Finally, embedded software engineers continue to be among the most popular profiles for recruitment in 2019.
