AI certainly benefits devops
According to Ronen Slavin, co-founder and CTO of Cycode, the automation made possible by artificial intelligence "reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks, allowing teams to focus on communication and strategic initiatives."
A Sonatype survey of 800 devops leaders reveals that 97% of them are using generative AI. Almost 31% have already integrated this technology into their software development processes. AI is revolutionising the devops experience, particularly through its widespread application in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), automating the process of building, testing and deploying code.

The benefits of AI go beyond improving software, by facilitating communication between development, operations and sales teams. According to Cycode's Ronen Slavin, AI reduces the time spent on mundane and automated tasks, allowing teams to focus on communication and strategic initiatives, and fostering more meaningful discussions.

Jeremy Rambarran of Touro University Graduate School of Technology points out that AI facilitates collaboration, regardless of the location of employees, and stimulates creativity. In the future, AI could accelerate software deployments with AI-driven robots, helping with code review and automatic bug detection, reducing manual errors and improving collaboration between human developers and AI teammates.
